oh, that is funny! I"m sure Jared loved it :) I am a bit jealous that I don't have family close so I can have a few days to let the kiddos bond with Grandma--how cool that he could go for the week!
Grandparents aren't close for us either...quite a trip from Durham to Phoenix. He was able to fly out with Janae's brother. But yes, it would be nice to be closer to family.
