I think Jared has been teaching Addison to say Dada behind my back

Yes folks it's true...regardless of the fact that I have been trying to teach Addie how to say mama for months she has started saying dada. How do you like that for gratitude?

Brighton has a new best friend.
He gets so excited every time he finds one. He has been spending a lot of time playing in his sand box lately and on this particular day he was lucky enough to find two caterpillars. He was very disappointed the next morning when he could not find them where he had left them the day before. Can I just tell you that we adore this little boy.

Lately, Brighton's two favorite things to do are pushing Addie around the house in the stroller(which incidentally is awesome because it keeps both of my children happy for hours, don't worry he is careful with her) and riding his bike around the house. The other night he decided to combine the two by rigging the stroller to be a trailer behind his bike. He came riding into the kitchen towing his little sister behind him. He was so proud of himself.

Zoo Trip

On Thursday Brighton, Addison, and I had a lovely day at the Asheboro Zoo with some friends from the ward.

I think Brighton's favorite thing was building a shelter out of sticks in the kids zone.

I'm not quite sure if this is normal...

I came into the kitchen to find that Brighton had perfectly lined up all the tuna cans on the grid pattern of our kitchen floor.
